
It should be no surprise to anyone that Amazon is investing in technology to capture more of the e-commerce pie. The latest innovation announced September of last year is called Amazon One.
Amazon One will literally put the power of purchase in the hands of customers. Amazon One simplifies the everyday interaction by imaging and encrypting image of the palm of customer’s hand. This information is used to create a unique palm signature that can be read every time a payment is made to
authenticate the card holder and complete the contactless purchase.
Making Amazon One available to merchants would require the same strategy amazon used promoting Amazon Pay. It is easy, seamless and trusted by consumers.
